1. Check You Meet the Basic Requirements

Apply for an enhanced DBS check through TfL’s approved provider. You’ll also need to register for the Update Service.

Visit your GP to complete a TfL medical form, proving you’re fit to drive commercially (this follows DVLA Group 2 standards).

Once all the above is ready, apply online at the TfL Private Hire Driver Licence portal. You’ll need to upload:
